Cheerleading Coach Gets Qualified Immunity in Injury Case
A volunteer cheerleading coach who was sued after a freshman suffered a severe head injury at practice in 2004 should have been granted qualified immunity by the district court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit has ruled.
