Superior Ct.: Naming Insurance Providers in UIM Cases Permissible
Insurance companies can be named as defendants in underinsured motorist cases because naming them does not prejudice other defendants, as UIM coverage does not provide indemnity to the tortfeasor, the state Superior Court has ruled.
